A good excuse for being late on an assignment

This will be my first entry and I am excited about trying out blogging.  I love the stories that can be told on Facebook but I don't like to force every moment of my life on my friends.  So last week I had a grand adventure in Ohio.  I signed up with my brother-in-law to do GOBA.  GOBA is the Great Ohio Bike Adventure which took me over 400 miles on my bike in the course of a week.  By about the third day it felt like the movie Groundhog Day, each day we would wake up, pack up our gear, load it on a truck, ride 50 miles, unpack our gear and then enjoy a new town.  It was a great chance for me to think about the upcoming school year and reminisce (read that as forget) about the past school year.  I met all sorts of neat people my journey and saw a lot of God's great creation.

I want to use a blog site next school year in my classroom to give my children a voice beyond the classroom.  I normally let them share about their weekends during our morning time on Monday, but a blog would be a great way to let them share about the world that they live in.  This is going to be awesome!!!!!
